Our Love, Our Life...

I'm already three weeks here in Doha, Qatar and still searching for work. Good thing I was under a family visit visa I have more time to apply and look for a good and stable company. Sorry I cannot post a picture because I don't have a time to take it. I've been so busy this past few days going to interview or applying online. Maybe later I can show some beautiful tourist spot and place in Doha. And as I mention earlier, because I was too busy I don't have much time to update my blog. So to save time I wanted to summarize the whole month happenings in just one entry.

It's been three weeks that I'm away with my daughter and I'm missing her so much. I left her a week before her 5th month birthday. Hopefully we can bring her here as soon as I get a stable work.

Our baby's milestone at five months:

Mika really loves to play and one of her discovery is playing with her saliva. She even make sounds of producing it like her mouth was a fountain. She was even more happy when you give attention to her as if she was successful in getting you by her drooling.

She likes strolling around. She always show to mommy how big girl she is now that she's not a baby anymore. Mika always stretch her legs and place it above the end of her stroller as if she was showing to me that she can touch it already. She also lift her both legs showing how strong she is.....mommy was so impressed! How time flies so fast......!!!

Babies are very easy to smile they are not a complicated type of person. See how happy you are with your hotdog pillow. Your pillows are one of your best friend.  You put it between your legs when you are sleeping and as a toy when you wanted to play on your crib. Mommy doesn't need to buy expensive toys for you to play.....just a pillow would be enough to make you smile.

On October 24, it was your Mommy and Daddy first wedding anniversary. Because Daddy was in Doha at that time Mommy bought a dedication cake. But our baby Mika was very occupied looking on the red box cake so the video greetings planned of Mommy was failed because you didn't want to look on the camera. I though you recognized it as a cake and wanted to taste but then I realize that you're staring and seems fascinated with the red box. Anyway, Mommy's wish for their first anniversary is to have a complete family that would stay and live together. Your Mommy and Daddy wanted to be with you wherever in the world we go.

The first time you get sick, Mommy was in a panic and didn't know what to do. I wanted to cry seeing you having uncomfortably breathing because of cloggy nose and headache maybe. Your always crying and didn't want to lie on your bed. You wanted to sit up when your sleeping maybe this makes you more comfortable. And when you had a fever Mommy brought you immediately to another Pedia (your Pedia opens her clinic late in the afternoon). Buti na lang your Lola Nanay was there to help me. We exchange shift of taking care of you during the night. Mommy was forced to give you antibiotics. You're only four months and one week then but you had a dry cough so I don't have any choice but to give you antibiotics for a week. I was relief when you got back to normal little by little each day and hoping you will stay healthy as you grow old.

Mika loves being kissed and embraced. Mommy always shower you with millions of kisses on your underarms, tummy, neck and cheeks. Oh, how I miss that bonding time when you and I was playing on our bed. Mommy will kiss you on your tummy and make loud sounds then you will giggle and shout. Your Ninong Untel and Ninang Ika always tease you for having not so many hair on your head. Your Ninang even went to market to search for a wig but she can't find one so instead she brought you a santa headband. My daughter is beautiful whatever she wears, like mommy

Mommy brought you to Waltermart Supermarket for the first time for our weekly groceries and to buy you your milk and diaper. While Mommy was pushing the pushcart your Lola Nanay was pushing your stroller. Your eyes were too busy looking either on your right or left side maybe you were wondering where you are. You are amazed on the colorful view of the supermarket so just lying on your stroller was not enough for you to explore the place. So Lola Nanay carry you on her arms while pushing your stroller imagine how she was able to do that because you were crying when we were trying to lie you back on your stroller. And while we were walking inside the mall your eyes are too busy again to look on everything we had passed. See our picture in front of the national bookstore? You're looking on the horse carousel even Lola Nanay called your name many times to look at her, dedma lang hehehe.

Then Mommy brought you to Robinson's Cabanatuan for your photo shoot. See how sweet your smile is while trying on the pink bonnet with ear muff. When I saw this I knew it right away that when you grow up you and mommy will be shopping buddies, we have the same taste! And as usual you're too busy and preoccupied on the colorful things you saw inside the department store. For the meantime, mommy will be your fashion designer since you're still a baby to decide on the fashion statement you want. You're so lovely wearing that bonnet I'm sure you will be a great endorser someday because your Daddy bought his own bonnet too when she saw you wearing that hihihi.

How cute you are smiling and playing with toys! Your Lola Nanay got you tried on different toys so that Daddy will have an idea on what to buy you in the coming months hahaha.

Mika is now enjoying her morning bath. Before, she would cry out loud while taking a bath. Now, she's playing with the water and loves to take a bath, no more crying drama. I even bought you a small plastic inflated pool so that you can sit while Lola Nanay is showering you.

This is the day before mommy left you. We went to Church and then to Park. I really miss you my baby sana magkawork na si mommy para I can go home on your first birthday and you can come here with us. Daddy and Mommy love you so much! We can't control ourselves to think about you every day. Specially your daddy, he just saw you on pictures and video. He doesn't meet you yet personally, he can't go home when I gave birth to you even if he wanted to because of his work and some complicated issues. Your daddy sacrificed a lot for us. He even told me that he wanted to carry you and kiss you but he cannot do because he was here. But don't worry baby mommy will surely find a work in the coming weeks. We should wait at God's perfect time for everything.

And so your Ninang Ika has finally found a wig for you. You look like a grown up little lady on your bonnet with curly hair. Meanwhile, your Lola Nanay is starting to spoil you, she set-up the laptop on your crib so you can watch your favorite baby music video while lying. You love to watch baby music video since you were just a few weeks old, it was your lullaby. You're so lovely wearing all pink. You look more girly lalo na when you matched it with pink bonnet. I am a very proud mommy and still can't believe how beautiful my baby has become. I thank our Lord every day for giving you to us. You are our everything!

When you learned to lift your legs and touched it, you're always doing that! Your daddy thought he would have a gymnast daughter because almost all the pictures that your Ninong Untel sent to us, you're always touching your feet. But mommy thought you wanted to become a ballet dancer it was more girly than a gymnast right?

Happy 5th month baby Flora!!! Mommy and Daddy were so happy to have you. Look how mischievous you are?! You always lift your dress hahaha! Mommy's wish for you is good health. May you grow healthy, smart and God fearing child. We love you so much!!!
